気弱で臆病な性格の幼虫型デジモン。ブイモン等と同じ古代種族の末裔で、特殊なアーマー進化をすることができるが、単体でのワームモンは非力で、大型のデジモンには到底かなわない。しかし、デジメンタルの力でアーマー進化することで、信じられないようなパワーを発揮することができる。また、脆弱な幼虫が力強い成虫に成長するように、ワームモンもいつの日かパワー溢れる成熟期へと進化すると言われている。まさに未来への可能性を秘めているデジモンなのである。必殺技は粘着力の強い網状の糸を吐出し相手の動きを封じこめてしまう「ネバネバネット」と、絹糸のように細いが先端が尖った針の様に硬質な糸を吐出す『シルクスレッド』。

Shoots out stiff threads that are as thin as a silk thread but as pointed and sharp as a needle.
Flips into a ball and hops into the air to whip the opponent with its antennae.
Slaps the foe with a strand of silk.
Shoots out silk in the shape of a hand to grab objects.
Spins around and scratches the foe with its spinnerets.
Spins into a ball and rams enemy.
Jumps in the air and spins into a ball to attack.
Sticks to a surface, allowing it to scale it. Attaches itself to an enemy to headbutt it repeatedly.
"Punches" with a blob of silk extended from its mouth.
Drills the enemy with its spinnerets.
Encases a midair opponent in webbing, making them fall to the ground.
Sprays webbing along the ground and forms it into spikes that stab upward at the enemy.
Dives down at the enemy, drilling them with a spike of webbing protruded from its mouth.
"Uppercuts" the opponent with a blob of silk extended from its mouth.
