重量級のクロンデジゾイド製の甲冑に身を包んだ巨体な戦士型デジモン。その甲冑を着込んでいても愛用の大剣を軽々と扱うほどのパワーを持っている。一説には、暴走してしまう程の強力なパワーを抑えるために甲冑を身に着けていると言われている。また、ナイトモンはマスターに忠実に仕えるために存在しているデジモンであり、信義に厚い性格である。そのため、マスターの属性によっては信念を貫くため、悪にも正義にもなってしまうことに苦悩している。狂戦士のごとく大剣を振るい、あらゆる物を一刀両断する『ベルセルクソード』。
