クワガーモン系デジモンの究極形態。昆虫型デジモンの中でもとりわけ邪悪な存在であり、デジタルワールドでグランクワガーモンに出会ってしまった場合は、自らを呪うしかない。普段はデジタルワールドの森林の奥深くに生息しており、夜間しか活動しないため“深き森の悪魔”と呼ばれている。また、ヘラクルカブテリモンの最大のライバルであり、この両者の間にはいつ果てるともない戦いが続いている。必殺技は周囲の空間ごと切り裂いてしまう『ディメンションシザー』。
