古代生物の調査や発掘を行っている研究所のデータバンクにコンピュータウィルスが感染し、古代生物のデータを取り込み進化した。古代に食物連鎖の頂点にいた生物同様、旺盛な食欲と、高い補食能力を身につけている。頭部から生えた触手を器用に使って敵を捕まえ、尻尾から生えた鋭いブレードで仕留める。戦況が不利になると、鋭い触手で海底の土を巻上げて身を隠す。頭部から突き出ているレーダーアイは暗視装置のように敵を捕捉し、逆転の機会を狙う。必殺技は左右の前肢をクロスさせ放つ『スティンガーサプライズ』。
