伝説の十闘士の力を宿した、闇の能力を持つデジモン。超巨大な怪鳥の姿をしており、その凶々しい姿や性質から「死者を飲み込むもの」と呼ばれている。ダスクモンが細かな粒子へと変化し、それが大量の黒い霧となって覆った空から飛来する。プライドの高いダスクモンは醜悪で理性的ではないベルグモンに変わることを嫌っていて、よほどのことが無い限りベルグモンの姿を見せない。通常戦闘においては敵を盲目にする性質のある爪と、金属も噛み砕く牙が主戦武器。必殺技は最大パワーの羽ばたきで、空間ごと敵を異空間に消し飛ばす『ゾーンデリーター』と、敵の性質を闇に変えて自分の思うままに操る『マスターオブダークネス』。
Flaps its wings to blow the opponent and all the space around them into another dimension. Draws a circle around the opponent with the tip of its wing, creating a sphere of darkness that deletes everything caught within it.
Converts the opponent's nature to darkness, allowing it to manipulate them. Fires a beam from its central eye.
