伝説の十闘士の力の全てを受け継ぎ、未知の能力を得ることで伝説を超えた闇の能力を持つデジモン。 その勇士を目にした者はおらず、対峙した敵の証言すら残されていないことから、“闇の守護帝”と呼ばれている。必殺技は周囲一帯から一切の物理法則をも無力化して敵をしとめる『シュバルツ・レールザッツ（黒定理）』と、頭部の獅子の目より放たれる『ロート・クロイツ（赤十字架）』。
