金色狐の姿をした獣人型デジモン。レナモンは人間との関係がストレートに現れるデジモンで、幼年期の頃の育て方によっては、特に知能が高いレナモンに進化できると言われている。常に冷静沈着で、あらゆる状況下でもその冷静さを失わないほど訓練されている。細身で長身の姿は他の成長期と比べても抜きに出ており、パワーバトルと言うよりは、スピードを利用した多彩な術で敵を翻弄する。得意技は相手の姿をコピーして自身のテクスチャを張り替える変化の術『狐変虚（こへんきょ）』。必殺技は鋭利な木葉を敵に投げる『狐葉楔（こようせつ）』。
