Welcome to this week's Digimon game news roundup for October 25, 2026. From upcoming digital adaptations to physical tabletop developments and console RPG milestones, there is plenty for Digital Game Base readers to catch up on across the franchise.
Mobile Updates: Digimon Alysion and Digimon UP!
Bandai Namco confirmed that pre-registration for Digimon Alysion will open in the coming weeks following beta adjustments to user interface and battle pacing. Releasing in late 2026, the mobile game based on the Liberator universe will link with physical Starter Decks ST-25 'Rubeusdramon' and ST-26 'Yukinamon' on December 4, 2026, which include digital item redemption codes. Meanwhile, the mobile monster-raising RPG Digimon UP! remains targeted for launch before the end of the year.
Physical TCG: EX-13 Meta and Q4 Tournaments
The physical card game scene is actively adopting Extra Booster EX-13 Chivalrous XIII, which introduced Arts Digivolve and Dual Cards mechanics. The expansion provides new Royal Knights support for Magnamon, Dukemon, and 'Lordknightmon'. Players can test these new decks across ongoing Q4 competitive events, including Evolution Cup Vol. 3 and Official Store Tournament Vol. 4 featuring exclusive alternate-art promo packs.
Console RPG Milestones and Retro Spotlight
Digimon Story: Time Stranger has hit its one-year anniversary across platforms including Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Following its third DLC Anti-ParadoX, developer Bandai Namco reaffirmed that a major story expansion titled A Hero's Eternal Legacy is scheduled for 2027. Additionally, the retro community is celebrating an ambitious fan-made modern 3D remake of the original 1999 PlayStation classic Digimon World.
To stay ahead this week, mobile TCG players should monitor store listings for Digimon Alysion pre-registration perks. Tabletop tamers can open the Bandai TCG+ app to find local store events for Evolution Cup Vol. 3 and stock for EX-13 booster packs. Console RPG fans who have not played Digimon Story: Time Stranger can download the free demo on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 with save data transfer.
