Welcome to this week's Digimon franchise news roundup for November 4, 2026. From major digital trading card game announcements to upcoming physical deck releases, competitive tournaments, and video game updates, there is plenty of news for digital tamers to keep track of this week.
Mobile Pre-Registrations and Winter Physical TCG Releases
Global pre-registration for Digimon Alysion officially launched on October 28 across 49 regions on iOS and Android. This upcoming free-to-play mobile adaptation set in the Digimon Liberator web comic universe offers pre-registration reward tiers featuring booster pack tickets, 'Gemmon', 'MetalGarurumon', and 'WarGreymon'. The mobile launch aligns with Bandai's finalized physical card release calendar for December, which includes the ST-25 'Rubeusdramon' and ST-26 'Yukinamon' starter decks on December 4, followed by Booster Pack BT-27 Ignition of X launching in official capacity on December 11.
Competitive Tournaments and Video Game Status Updates
In competitive tabletop play, stores are hosting Evolution Cup 2026 Volume 4 tournaments following October's release of Extra Booster 13 Chivalrous XIII (EX-13). Players can compete for exclusive alt-art promo cards managed through the Bandai TCG+ app. On the video game side, turn-based RPG Digimon Story Time Stranger maintains strong player engagement ahead of its planned 2027 story expansion, while mobile virtual-pet RPG Digimon UP remains on track for launch in late 2026.
Anime Streaming Updates and Franchise Milestones
On the animation front, the original series Digimon Beatbreak continues its weekly streaming broadcast on Crunchyroll. Alongside the main series, the special retrospective broadcast The Best Adventure We Chose is currently airing to build momentum for the franchise's upcoming 30th-anniversary milestone projects.
To stay ahead this week, tamers should pre-register for Digimon Alysion on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to help unlock tier rewards before release. Additionally, contact your local game store to secure pre-orders for the 'Rubeusdramon' and 'Yukinamon' starter decks, and check the Bandai TCG+ app to find nearby Evolution Cup 2026 Volume 4 events.
