This week's Pokémon gaming news brings major announcements across console and mobile titles for October 31, 2026.
Legends Z-A and Pokémon GO Halloween Events
Nintendo launched the physical Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Mega Dimension bundle on October 29, accompanied by a Mystery Gift event active through November 18. Players can claim a special Spewpa that evolves into one of 16 random Vivillon patterns, with a global community target of 660,000 evolution points needed to unlock the rare Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon. Meanwhile, Pokémon GO is running its Halloween 2026 event through November 5, featuring costumed Pikachu and Zubat, alongside Sinistea and the shiny debut of Greavard. Today, October 31, brings the Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, introducing Mega Chandelure and its Super Max Level capability to unlock the move Ominous Wind+.
Updates for Masters EX and TCG Pocket
Pokémon Masters EX launched Arceus Arc Chapter 11 on October 29, adding Arc Suit Gladion and Silvally as a Normal-type Multi Sync Pair, backed by a celebration event running until November 20. Over on mobile, Pokémon TCG Pocket introduced Handy Card Collection Missions, allowing players to earn essential trainer cards including Red, Sabrina, Rare Candy, and Rocky Helmet through solo battle tasks. Furthermore, the development team outlined a roughly 6-week release schedule for future booster sets and confirmed that dual-type cards will arrive in upcoming expansions.
Pokémon Café ReMix Overhaul Delayed to 2027
Developers announced on October 31 that the major gameplay system overhaul for Pokémon Café ReMix previously slated for late 2026 has been pushed back to 2027 to ensure higher software quality. To compensate players during the extended waiting period, the team is issuing a monthly free 10+1 Express Delivery Ticket to all active accounts while continuing to rerun popular legacy events.
Heading into the weekend, players should immediately jump into Pokémon Legends: Z-A to claim and evolve Spewpa via Mystery Gift, log into Pokémon GO during today's afternoon raid window for Mega Chandelure, complete 20 points of solo tasks in Pokémon TCG Pocket for essential trainer cards, and check their inbox in Pokémon Café ReMix to collect their free delivery ticket.
