Description
血気盛んで非常に攻撃性の高い凶暴なデジモン。しかし仲間に対しては友好的であり、シャウトモンに認められれば種族を超えた親交も深めることができる。シャウトモンのノドには情熱をエネルギーに変換する特殊な機能があり、胸の奥に燃えさかる熱い想いをマイクで増幅し相手にぶつける「ソウルクラッシャー」という攻撃を行う。情熱こそが攻撃の源であるため、いかに体にダメージを与えようとも、情熱が消えない限りシャウトモンが戦いを諦めることはなく、シャウトモンが攻撃性の高い凶暴なデジモンと言われる由縁である。凶暴に見える反面、音楽や歌が好きという一面があり、風の音、雨だれ、川のせせらぎ、木の葉のざわめきなど自然の音をＢＧＭに歌を口ずさむのを好む。しばしば歌に熱中しすぎて敵もいないのに「ソウルクラッシャー」を暴発させる場合もあるため、シャウトモンが歌い始めたら気付かれないようにその場を離れるのが無難だろう。シャウトモンにはマクフィルド社製のマイクを必ず所有するという不思議な習性があり、マイクを持っていないシャウトモンはシャウトモンではない。マイクを無くししまったシャウトモンは、シャウトモンでなくなってしまったショックにより急速にパワーを失い、やがて衰弱してしまうと言われている。よってマイクを隠すなどのイタズラは決してしてはいけない。ちなみにこのマイクを棒術のように使った「ラウディーロッカー」は格闘戦だけではなく、パフォーマンスとしても秀逸である
